Many Changes

The past week has been one of a lot of change for me. Over the past four months I’ve been preparing to go serve in Central Africa. I had a specific job and a place to be and that is no longer. No longer do I have a job and I’m on my way to training. So on top of the massive information I will be soaking up for the next two months, I still have to find out where I am being sent. I thought it worked out perfectly and everything was falling into place and then a wrench, a monkey wrench of all things, was thrown into the mix. I’m still unsure as to why God allowed me to have the past four months to prepare for something that essentially He didn’t have for me. But I trust in our sovereign Lord and know whatever it is He is doing in this is so much better than what I thought it would be. In Him I find peace and my rest and know that all will work for His glory, so I’m excited to find out what He is doing. One day all will be revealed and I am to wait on Him. His timing is perfect, however weird it seems to us.
