Last Day in Texas

Monday was my last full day (well for two months anyway) in the best state ever…TEXAS! Boy, am I going to miss it, but I look forward to the next two months. So on my last day in Texas I was able to make a few last visits and run last minute errands. I was so happy to see my good friend Amy and her new baby girl, Heidi. It’s so awesome to hold a newborn child in your hands and think about all their life is going to hold. She is going to be one incredible chicka for she will be learning from amazing parents who walk in the ways of the Lord. I look forward to coming back and seeing how much she’s grown in two months and then later down the road in two years.

And Monday night I was so blessed to be able to have dinner at P.F. Chang’s with my small group. Those four girls have been such a blessing to me over the past three months! I couldn’t have asked for some better women in my life. And while I’m sad that I feel like I didn’t have enough face time with them, I am thankful that God even brought them into my life for such a short time. Of course they will be girls I will still catch up with for the rest of my life. They are the friends you make that no matter how much physical distance separates you, oceans, countries, continents, nothing really separates you. They are blessings from God. So thank you girls for sharing your lives with me and making the last few months some of the best ever! I’m praying for you and I love each of you so much!
